As I sit here with my cup of coffee and good book, I am watching the snow fall. Yes, it is snowing in the lower part of "lower pennisula" Michigan. It is a good time to get out old projects that might not have been finished last year at this time. Like snow landscape wall hangings or maybe a Christmas project that didn't get finished in time for Christmas. Come on now, many of you quilters out there know what I'm talking about. I have forgotten too many projects in bags because I love all the new patterns coming into the shop "this" season. I have gotten onto a yo-yo bandwagon and am working on a yo-yo Snowman for the store. The pattern is from Indygo Junction called Yuletide Yo-Yo. I used the Clover Yo-Yo makers and the Clover Circle Cutter

The Yo-Yo maker turns the edge under and makes the yo-yo's the perfect size every time. I made 50 of them in no time at all. Melissa (one of my very enthusiastic employees and friend) has uploaded the notions onto our web site I will post a picture when the snowman is done.
