I just finished this skirt and blouse outfit for a friend’s doll……..from the book, “Love to Dress Up”. It was fun to make and only took 2 coordinating fat quarters. All of the patterns just call for fat quarters—how fun and easy is that? One little shorts outfit was a birthday present I gave to an 8-year old. The other patterns include pajamas, peasant dress, pants and tops, sundress, even little accessories (purse, hair band, etc.).

Meet a new generation of needles! The spiral eye needle has arrived. This is like no self-threading needle you have ever seen.
This needle threads from the side – and has a locking mechanism – that keeps the thread in place. There has never been anything like it – and it just gets better…..
These needles are the only sewing needles made in the USA and are made of surgical steel. That means that they won’t rust, won’t break, and stay sharp. Surgical steel is magnetic – so if you drop one, it is easy to find.
Most needles these days are nickel plated. If you are allergic to ear rings and jewelry, you may be allergic to nickel. That means you may be allergic to your sewing needles. These are user friendly!
They come in a multitude of types – betweens; sharps; darners; tapestry; and chenille. And, they come in a multitude of sizes.

If you can answer "YES" to either one or both of these questions, then have we got a project for you!
1: Do you have any fabrics in your stash that when you bought them, they seemed perfect? And now well maybe not;
2: Do you have any fabrics you need to "use" so you can buy more?
Well then, it is time to "GET HOOKED"! Come on in and see the rugs you can crochet using a huge hook and plenty of stash. Deb used probably 20 yards of various fabrics, cut in 2" strips and crocheted into a scrappy looking oval rug . Even if you don't know how to crochet, the instructions in this pattern "Get Hooked" by Ann Lauer, are very easy to understand and follow. The pattern even includes the ("Q" size) hook.
