What a great way to mark your spot in your quilt pattern, knitting pattern or cook book.  Crafter’s Essentials Easy See Craft Tape.

See through tape that you can use, remove and then reuse to mark a special spot or where you need to begin or end. Do you have patterns that have different sizes in columns? put a piece of this florescent pink tape on the column you need to follow so you don’t cut the wrong size or too many pieces.

A must have for serious crafters

We’ve received a new book, Baker’s Dozen, which has (you guessed it) 13 fun project patterns from quilts and  table runners to a scrap catcher and santa bag!  These would all be GREAT Christmas gifts and relatively easy to make!  Many are fat quarter friendly so come on out, check out the book and pick out some fat quarters and you’re ready to go :).  We have the Santa Bag made and it will work well as a gift bag or just a cute Christmas decoration!

Cutting made easy!

clock October 19, 2012 06:15 by author Ruth

At Quilt N Go we have an AccuCut cutting machine that you can rent by the hour or have us cut your fabric for you.  We have a 6” tumbler die that cuts 4 6“ tumblers at a time, this makes a quick and easy quilt just by reversing the tumblers to make strips, sew the strips together, add a border or two and you have a quilt top.  Also a circle die that cuts 4 different size circles or all one size, whatever you prefer, these circles can be used with our yo yo makers.  There is a flower die that you can cut two different flower shapes, stems and leaves, you can iron on fusible; when the flowers are cut you are ready to fuse onto your block and appliqué.  You can cut 5” charm squares or 2 1/2” strips to use in your favorite project or start a new project.  What could take you a lot of cutting time would be greatly reduced using our cutting dies.  Stop in, have a look and let one of our staff show you what can be done.
