WOW! We have had fun opening boxes from UPS lately. Some of the new fabrics include kids and some new batiks. There are also several new tone on tone creams.
The ombre fabric is gorgeous. I think this one would be a great sunrise background for a scenery wall hanging.
Why don’t you tell me what you would do with the two darker ones

What is the perfect environment for quilting for YOU??,
Quiet? Soothing or exciting music? Alone? With a group?
At a workshop? Morning? Afternoon? Evening? Snacks?
For example,, some quilters want sunshine, a slight breeze, birds chirping and dedicated time. Others want to listen to a book and be surrounded by their multiple projects.
What about you? Will you share with us YOUR ideal quilting scenario?? We are looking forward to hearing from you!!

The girls are here working on their hand embroidery. Victoria is on block #11 of the Piccadilly Baskets and Marilyn is working on block #2 of the 9 Patch Garden.
It is very nice to have ladies working on different patterns at the same time. It really shows the different things that are going on.
They come in once a month, on the second Tuesday each month for a sit and stitch. Where did everyone else go today?
A real surprise came when Sheri arrived in a very large motorhome with car came to visit our store this afternoon. While his wife was in the store her husband was in the back trying to turn around so he could drive out. It took a little time to maneuver but all ended well

Over the next few weeks we will feature some of our ideas for presents you can make.
Just in time for the holidays! We have received the pattern, Bread Bagz for the Holidays from Cotton Ginnys.
These fun bags will hold up to a dozen or more rolls while the bread is kept soft without exposure to the air.
They would make a great gift holder for those holiday goodies!
We are excited to showcase is Pot Holders, Pinchers and Morefrom Chris Malone
Did you know that potholders (the things that are usually crammed in a drawer) have an interesting history? Chris writes a little about this and provides words of wisdom for choosing the right one for those special friends who will love and use them all year! And the best part…..The book only costs $9.95!!! Come get yours before they are gone!
In case you missed the pattern for potholders or you find that you just LOVE the pot pinchers, this is the pattern for you! From Vanilla House, Pot Pinchers offers full size patterns and lots of ideas for embellishing them. Include a pair of these pot pinchers with a recipe or a loaf of bread and your holiday gifts are ready! It takes less than a yard (or you can use two or three fat quarters) of fabric to make two oven mitts!! How about Cupcakes, Owls and Monkeys for cute potholders
