I am working on a new pattern for a table runner called Afternoon Delight. I have been looking at a couple of great green fabrics that we have and decided that this would be a great project for that fabric. What do you think? The binding will be the dark green.

Hurrah! Get ready to celebrate National Sugar Cookie Day! With our Christmas in July Sale going from Wednesday, July 22 to Saturday, July 25, you'll have enough time to locate your favorite Sugar Cookie Recipe and all the fixins'.
Most of us have all the ingredients on hand to make this perennial favorite: butter, eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder or soda and vanilla. All you may need are your favorite cutters and 'little bakers' to mix, cut and later decorate your favorite shapes.

With the weather in Michigan cooling off a bit, make a batch today to take along as you continue your Row by Row experience. Don't forget to add the Cal-Co Quilters Quilt Show in Marshall to your itinerary this weekend. It will be held at the Marshall High School on July 11th and 12th from 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Marshall Garden Show and Tour. Stop by and see the array of floral displays both inside and out.

Soon we'll be celebrating our 239th birthday--complete with parades, picnics, family gatherings and fireworks! Happy Birthday USA!
