Or if your a beginner and most projects are too overwhelming for you then stress no more! We just recently got "Petite Quilts" from Thimble N Thread. The petite quilts are perfect if you are a beginner looking for your next project or if you are just in between projects and are looking for something to do in between. The kits are already packaged with all the fabric you will need to get the job done. The finished project is approximately 18"X20" but they vary depending on which kit you choose. That also means that its small enough to use a fat quarter as the backing. The kits that we have include "Little Blue Bird" , " and "Thimble N Thread". (more coming) These petite quilts are perfect to use as wall hangings or as table toppers too!

Your New Life/Finger Saver!

clock June 11, 2016 05:45 by author Madison

If you're like me, you probably know the pain of burning your fingers on the iron or hot glue all too well. When you're trying to do small little projects its very hard to not burn yourself. Or if your lucky and haven't burnt yourself with the iron or a hot glue gun then I'm sure you've poked yourself with a needle while sewing. And if you haven't then that's pretty amazing and I would like to know how you do it! But I'm sure that the majority of us have not been as lucky. No matter how hard we try to be careful we still end up hurting ourselves. Thankfully someone realized our pain and made something to help us out. They're called Thermal Finger Guards. These cute little rubber things fit on the tips of your fingers. With them on you can accidentally get your fingers with the iron or the hot glue gun and you won't feel a thing! You can even wear them as a thimble too! Finally something that will save your poor fingers from your clumsiness with the iron or hot glue gun. And if you have sausage fingers or thin fingers they will fit any size. They come in red, purple, blue, orange and lime green. They come in a pack of three so three of your fingers can feel safe. So save your fingers and make them feel safe by coming and checking these guys out!

Mini Table Runners!

clock April 23, 2016 04:52 by author Madison

Have you been loving doing 10 minute table runners? I recently just finished tow the other day and I have to say they can be addicting! They are cute, easy, quick, and simple and they look gorgeous wherever you decided to put them. But whats even better than a 10 minute table runner? The mini table runners! Not only are they smaller and cuter they take less than 10 minutes! The mini table runners are perfect for putting on the back of the toilet or on a dresser or anywhere you want! They add a cute and fun vibe wherever you place them. And it gets better! Two fat quarters makes two mini table runners! Yes that means twice as many mini table runners. When you buy two fat quarters to make the mini table runner we will also give you the pattern free to make it. The mini table runner is the perfect way to get your house looking spring ready. They are easy to make, take less than 10 minutes, and they are a great decoration! We also just got in some very pretty and colorful fabrics that are perfect for these mini table runners as well.

Below are the pictures of the mini table runner itself and some of the new fabrics we just got in.

Your next project?!

While looking at this beautiful fabric, Ruth (my grandma) came up with an idea on how to use up this fabric. She decided to make a jelly roll 1600 race out of it! she cut 2 1/2 wide strips and got to sewing. Since the fabric has such a beautiful pattern to it, it looks beautiful just by itself. This is something that's perfect for just hanging up in any room and your house. It will brighten up any room you chose to put in it and be a great thing to decorate with. This is something that's easy and quick and can bring so much to a room. I definitely recommend making this one!

The Famous Fold N Stitch Wreath

clock February 27, 2016 05:34 by author Ruth

Considering it's all anyone has been talking about lately you've probably heard about the Fold N Stitch Wreath. People are already coming up with their own versions and spins on the pattern and they are beautiful! Some people are figuring out how to make them look like 3-D flowers and some are playing around with different colors to really make it pop. With this pattern there are so many different things you can do with it, the possibilities are endless. And the best part about it is that you can make yours completely unique and no one else will have one like it. You can choose to hang it on your front door or make it the center of attention on your dining room table.
